  1. Where are the children clothes shown in the pic “The Sisters of St. Coral Orphanage” from? The look wonderful!!

    Thanks!

    • Um … I thought they were from Parsimonious, so I checked there. No dice. I checked MTS next. Still no dice. AAS? Nope. Tabala’s site using the wayback machine? Still no luck.

So … I have no idea, though I do know I’ve had these in my downloads folder forever. Sorry, Susi! Welcome to Albion anyway!

      • Thanks for looking! 🙂
*blush* Perhaps… would you pack them and load them up to mediafire and post the link please *blush+more* If it causes not too much trouble to you after I already made you searching so much sites for it.

        • I could pack some of the Sims up when I get a chance. (Probably not until after the weekend, I’ve got plans.) It’ll give me an excuse to grow up these Sims in Bodyshop and see how they turn out. 😉

If I haven’t done this in a week or so, drop me another comment to remind me.

Have you gotten a chance to look at the story? Are you enjoying it?

    • Erin thought she was infertile. Then she had Jean. She thought having a baby that she couldn’t raise was a punishment — a sick joke by the Lord Wright. She also had no interest in having a child then (she wanted to be done, done, done with the whole domesticity thing). So she gave the baby up willingly, figuring Jean would probably be better off with the nuns anyway.

Then, a year-ish later, she had Wulf. And Erin began to wonder if maybe this was a sign — maybe there was a reason why she was practically infertile and then had two kids. So she decided she would keep Wulf and raise him herself. Then, of course, Tuck took him away, and the rest is history. She didn’t feel that she could ask for Jean back because she gave her up willingly — and at that point, the nuns were the only family Jean had ever known. Taking Jean away from them would be as cruel to Jean as taking Wulf away from Erin was to Wulf.

Of course, that’s the Watsonian interpretation. The Doylist one … I cam up with the Wulf-Erin plot well after Jean’s adoption was done and dusted. 😆

    • (Also, if your stats for this page look weird, it’s because I know Nyasha’s ageing up, so I keep checking to see if there’s a picture of her as a teen yet. I kind of do that when I know one or more of your characters will be ageing up, because that’s totally normal and not obsessive at all. 😛 )

      • … Whoops. 😳 It’s fixed now!

Nyasha’s pic will be showing up on the Noble page, since she’ll be living with the Ferreiras once she hits teen. Er … once I move her in, that is. Which will be soon, I promise! As soon as I have some time.

But in the meantime, have a Nyasha pic.

  2. Random question. Since the nuns know all of the orphans’ maternities, are brothers and sisters informed that they are, in fact, brothers and sisters?

    • Not until they’re 12 or so. I think the Sisters of St. Coral don’t generally tell children their origins (such as they have the information — most of them in other countries are just variations of, “We found you on the front steps when you were about a day old”) until the kids are ready to leave. Mother Julian is sticking to that tradition, even though she knows a lot more. I think she doesn’t want the kids to develop rivalries based on their parentage.

And I think Mother Julian does tell the kids who their brothers and sisters are once they’re told their parentage. 12 is plenty of time to stop any inappropriate romances from happening. (Not that it’s necessary. I don’t have that hack!)
